"Sands of the Beach" 30 in 30 Challenge, Day Thirty Abstract Acrylic Painting, 36" x 36" Available and inspired by my favorite TV show Fixer Upper It can't be possible. It's Day Thirty and that means the January Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge is finished! OMG. It doesn't seem possible.
Honestly, I have mixed emotions. I am happy that the stress of painting everyday is over. It had been tough and this year I didn't do as good of a job of painting ahead. But the habit of painting every day is awesome. I love it. And I have made a promise to paint more just like I did this month. So I have my fingers crossed that I will do it. And I have a few more things in my life that I want to do on a more regular basis. What about you?

I planned ahead and sketched ahead larger paintings than I usually do for these challenges. I immediately found that the larger size put too much pressure on myself for a painting a day. And while I know I didn't have to produce a painting a day, but just paint daily, part of my plan was to have these paintings complete for outdoor shows which also started up in January. Then, because of all the prep for the shows, I had to switch my activties and after Day 10, I stopped painting.

Congratulations! I don't know how you do it! I couldn't do 30 paintings in 30 days, but I should certainly try 30 days of painting! Meanwhile I want to blog more this year because I have been convinced that blogging is dead... In fact I think it has just changed and I need to change with it! Great paintings by the way. Love your inspirations!
