The month is winding down and I am actually happy. This Challenge has been incredible and I have really enjoyed creating paintings for a farmhouse style home. I have found it interesting how much this has affected me personally. Everything around me is "turning to farmhouse style". The other night my husband called our house "Waco West". It's true, while creating these paintings I have also been re-decorating our house!

​Texture. Oh how I love texture! Creating texture with a palette knife is fun and not too difficult. (Maybe I shouldn't say that and just pretend that it's really hard and takes forever.) Either way, creating texture with paint creates so much more depth to a painting and I highly encourage you all to try it!
