"Sandy Days", 40" x 30"
Wow. One more day of the 30 in 30. How is that possible?
A lot of people have asked me what happened to the color in my paintings? There is a lot of color in these paintings but it's just muted. And it looks great in my favorite farm style houses! I can't wait to hang some of these in my house. I really want to post something special tomorrow. Time to head back into the studio!

Well, the Boot Camp is over and it has been an incredible four days. As I have said many times before, this is the best thing I do. I love helping artists and I love watching them identify their brand, create or improve their websites, and take charge of their marketing. The excitement and energy that we experienced these last four days was incredible. It was intense but we had a blast. I am so lucky.
Speaking of lucky, as I post Day 28 of the 30 in 30, I cannot believe how lucky I am that I get to complete this challenge with all of you! We have two days left. Oh my. I cannot believe it. And I am happy. I have a gazillion things on my to do list that I need to think about. That reminds me. Tomorrow we have a great podcast, Artists Helping Artists. The topic is “Why Do Artists Need Deadlines to be More Successful?” It doesn’t matter how long you have been an artist or where you are in life, deadlines are crucial. Whether it’s paying a bill, writing a blog post or finishing a painting for a show, deadlines can help us stay on track. Deadlines help us project manage and prioritize the many things that require our attention on a daily basis. Join us for the show anytime (after 8:00am EST this Thursday) as we discuss why artists need deadlines to be more successful. You can listen to the show here. |
