Welcome to Day One of the Thirty Paintings in 30 Days Challenge! It's February 1st and this is where you can post your painting for every day of the Challenge.
I know what some of you are thinking. "Wait, haven't I seen that painting before?". And the answer is yes. You see, I had foot surgery on Friday. It came up suddenly (from an injury in mid-December) and I am stuck on the couch. I have crutches but I am not mobile. So for the past week I have not been able to paint. I will catch up. I might have my husband move all of my painting materials in to the house so I can try to paint on our table. Fingers crossed. I know I can catch up. Just be patient with me. And remember that real life does get in the way. Which is fine. (But yes, I am really stressed out over this!) Ugh. To update your painting click on the blue box below that says "Add your link". For complete instructions on how to upload your photo of your painting here, please go to this tutorial.

Feel better--and thanks for soldiering on with the challenge. LIfe is an ongoing challenge and sometimes one really is not just procrastinating. Be easy on yourself! I myself am finding the kitchen table a great place to work!

Oh, I am so sorry Leslie. I know how frustrating it is. Praying you are able to paint soon. Be sure not to "cheat" cause you may regret it later - I mean on your feet. It's amazing how wonderfully created we are and also how fragile. Hope the pain is manageable. I saw a lady on an amazing device at the foot doctor's office. You ride it like a scooter with your knee on it. Maybe you could get one. Blessings.

Hi! Is there a way to view/expand the thumbnail images without having to redirect to whatever link the artist provides? I'd like to look at the photos in full size, but some of them don't have a link attached to them. Thanks!
