I went kind of crazy with the colors on this one. It took quite a few layers (with collage) and the process was so much fun. I don't know if I could ever replicate this one but I might just try!

I had a feeling a painting in browns would work really well with my "farmhouse theme". I cannot believe I haven't painted more paintings in this color palette! What was I thinking? It's amazing how well a monochromatic painting works when it has the right values. I fully intend to paint more abstracts like this! What do you think?
