I am finally back in the studio! Of course I am in my studio in Ventura Beach and loving every minute. I had a great long sea glass hunt with my best friend today followed by a fabulous dinner with Dave at our favorite restaurant here in Ventura. How lucky am I? What a great way to start the year.

2016 was a glorious year. Lots of wonderful memories with my family and art. I feel as if I am expanding my art business in a good way and look forward to the many exciting plans and projects in the new year.  My theme this year for the 30in30 Challenge is "Everything Magnolia" as all of my paintings will be designed to fit in the beautiful homes and farmhouse style created by Joanna Gaines, star of the fabulous TV show Fixer Upper. I spent two weeks in Waco this past year and fell in love with everything she does. Of course I should mention her husband Chip as he is the "other half" of the Magnolia story. And he is awesome too.
