Inspired by Project Runway, Season 9, Finale,  Anya Ayoung-Chee design
Picture
There is no doubt that the designs that are created for the finale shows of Project Runway are often the best. In season nine, Anya Ayoung-Chee did not disappoint. The only weird thing was when she claimed she had only learned to sew four weeks prior to going on Project Runway. Huh? In the finale Anya told the audience her collection was “inspired by the easy vibe of the Caribbean” before presenting her easy breezy collection, set to the music of steel drums. Her Caribbean theme even allowed for a swimsuit, the only one presented by any of the designers. This dress showed really well on the runway.

I used this design as an inspiration because I loved the colors. The warm tones in the fabric of this dress are simply fabulous.
