I cannot believe it's already day five of the challenge. I have so many plans of paintings I want to create and I can't wait to start focusing on these paintings. But I have a big thing I have been focusing and sadly, it happens tomorrow.
My youngest son is moving to France tomorrow to play professional volleyball. It's a dream he has had for a very long time. I am so excited for him but everytime I think about it I do get a bit teary eyed. He will be there for eight to nine months (it depends on how well his team plays) and I am really struggling with the fact he won't be home for Thanksgiving or our Christmas party or Christmas. That just kills me.
But don't worry too much. You will find that I will be visiting France a lot in the next nine months. And I do mean a lot!
So you can expect to see some of these exciting paintings after that plane takes off for France tomorrow night ... wish me strength that I don;t get too teary eyed tomorrow!

Ahh I feel for you Leslie. But what a wonderful opportunity for your son... and I'm sure there must be some painting opportunities in France? Wishing him all the best x
