I know. I know. I just commented on my blog yesterday that I was enjoying painting in neutral colors and didn't think I would be pulling out any of my favorite colors (especially aqua and orange). But I couldn't resist! This farmhouse themed living room has aqua accents so I just had to add a bit of aqua to my painting. Besides, I love it so who cares, right? And the chances of Joanna Gaines ever seeing my thirty "Fixer Upper inspired" paintings are very unlikely. So we will never know if she would use this painting (with aqua) in one of her remodels, right?

It's pretty scary that I can just about rationalize anything ...
