Inspired by Project Runway, Season 1, Jay McCarroll Finale Dress.

You have probably figured out that my theme for this month's Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge is "inspirations from my favorite TV show Project Runway". This was the dress that won the first season for the eccentric Jay McCarroll. His theme was "headphones" and you can see the model wearing them in the photo.

This was a really fun painting to create and I love how it turned out!

So, only 29 more to go. Yikes!

Leslie, when you sent the earlier blog on your theme I thought then, you are absolutely brilliant and such imagination. Kudos. I am looking forward to seeing all of them. Also, good luck in getting through this month - take extra vitamins.

Leslie, thank you for doing this challenge again! I woke up so excited to get going this morning! I just love it that I HAVE TO paint every day. :) I also love your theme for this time around, and look forward to watching your work. Again, THANK YOU!

I posted my day 1 painting last night, was #22. In looking at the day 1 postings today, my post had completely disappeared! I went through all three pages and it was not there! Any idea why this would happen? I did repost and am now #450, which is fine, but I do wonder what happened to the one I first posted.

Not sure why. Did you check your post after it was saved? Did the picture post correctly? I did delete three yesterday that were either duplicates or ones where the photo didn't post and it said "error". Other than that I am not sure what happened.
It doesn't matter the order. I promise!

Thanks for answering, Leslie! Yes, I did go back and check and it was there, photo looked fine. I know I did, because when I do this challenge, I always keep a log of which painting, which day and the number it is on this site-and I had forgotten to do that so went back in... Oh well, I just thought I should mention it; glad I noticed so I could repost! Thanks again!

Hi Leslie, I, too was unable to upload my photo without it rotating to horizontal. I went back to the instructions but could not find info relating to this issue. Help, please? I am #469. Thanks!

Was the painting in the right format before you uploaded it? The pictures are all set to show as square on my blog. Unfortunately I can't change that.
