Day Three of the 30in30 Challenge, Inspired by my favorite TV show "Fixer Upper"

So this new "neutral-very little color-famhouse-style-painting-thingy" is growing on me. I really like this painting. When I first started painting for my "fixer upper theme" I kind of freaked out because I knew my aqua and orange abstract paintings probably wouldn't work in Joanna Gaines remodeled homes. It's taking a lot of restraint but I think I am getting there. And I actually like it!

Leslie, I too find it very difficult to paint with neutral colors. This is great!

I kind of had a "slip up" on tomorrow's painting. When you see it you will know what I mean ... tee hee.

I really like this color palette. There is something about using neutrals and then throwing in a bit of a 'pure' color that just makes the whole thing pop. Looking forward to seeing more!
