Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day Three

"Cotton Stems", 48" x 48" Available.

I decided to paint big with this painting. It's 48" x 48" and is currently hanging in our family room. I wanted to paint flowers but I had some cotton stems in a vase and thought they might be fun to paint. This is by far the most neutral painting I have ever painted. And I had a lot of fun! Can you imagine that? The painter of bright colors actually enjoying painting almost no color? 
Go figure.
I hope you are enjoying the 30 in 30. I need to get ahead but at this point it just isn't happening. Which means my life is very stressed so far this month.
