This painting was finished a few days ago. (I cannot believe it is day twenty-three of the 30 in 30 Challenge.) It just reminds me of winter. It feels cool and dry to me. Even though I live in California it is winter here too. In fact we had nearly four inches of rain fall in Los Angeles yesterday.
