Hi Leslie! I know you've been busy but hopefully you took some time off as well this summer. I'm very excited about this new Challenge as I haven't painted in a long time. This is all I need to wake up from a terrible laziness. Thanks for being there with your tips and encouragements! :)

I paint in watercolor and mixed media..is that acceptable for the 30 in 30 challenge?
I'm really looking forward to this challenge. I've painted watercolor for over 40 years, but I've decided to do this challenge in oil. My theme will be "Sanctuary" and will consist of anything that brings peace and a feeling of safety. Pretty wide open. Good luck everyone.

I'm here in Ireland and can't wait to get started. Hope I'm up to the challenge. I'll be painting in oils I think on whatever sizes I have .

I can't wait! I am almost finished prepping sketches and preparing my small canvas panels. I am doing a series of Hawaiian fish that I saw while scuba diving this summer. My style is hard-edge geometric abstract with a limited pallette. I can't wait for the challenge!

'Thrilled to take on the challenge and join in the fun from San Francisco! I'm going with oil on panel (6x6"-12x12"). This is my first time attempting the 30 in 30, what a faboo idea Leslie. I'm going with "Lucky Paintings" as the loose theme, paintings that give off good luck. From brightly colored trinkets to portraits of Joan Rivers we'll see where this alla prima adventure goes!

I am a representational landscape encaustic artist with a very unique detailed style. I am going to use this challenge to explore cold wax combined with oil paint and focus on losing my stroke with a palette knife. Feel free to follow in my journey! Can't wait. Thanks for the platform!

I'm excited! This will be my first time doing this challenge but I can already tell that it's going to be a great opportunity to learn. I'm going to be working in oils doing 6x6 paintings of geometric frames with light effects and perhaps some natural elements.

Excited about this challenge, a first for me! My theme is "Favorite Things"; ranging from cats to flowers to fantasy; watercolor, acrylics, and mixed media in 6"x6" squares. Thank you for hosting this challenge, Leslie!
