My four day palette knife abstract workshop has come to a close and it's really quiet here in Ventura! All my students have left the beach house and I am waiting for my husband to arrive for a fun Fourth of July celebration.

This week's workshop was so much more than just a painting workshop. The seven of us painted, laughed, bonded, shared our secrets, had fabulous meals, painted, laughed, drank a bit of wine (and vodka), hunted for sea glass, painted, laughed and told lots of great stories. It was simply amazing.
