"Bands of Glory"
30 in 30 Challenge, Day Twenty-five
Abstract Acrylic Painting, 36" x 36"
Available and inspired by my favorite TV show Fixer Upper

Today's painting features a color palette that I do believe works very well in a farmhouse styled room. The horizontal composition works well and the knife strokes allow more detail and texture in the painting. I think this painting would work very well in a black and white themed room.

Google Chrome is far and away the most popular browser around and it supports a huge number of extensions, which are essentially plugins that add functionality to your browser. (I call them google goodies.) There are a ton of them that can help you get more work done in short order, while consuming less system resources than standalone apps and integrating more tightly into your workflow.

One of these extensions is called Pablo.
Pablo is a powerful tool for creating images to share on social networks, and it comes in handy when you want to grab your followers’ attention in their feeds more effectively than a text-based post could. You can add great text to the photo in a very easy way!
The app is great for laying out text, logos and other graphics in correctly sized images for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest posts. It’s easy to align various elements with relation to your canvas, and there’s even a massive library of more than 600,000 background images, as well as templates, to help you get started.
The extension lets you grab any image from the Web (just right click the image and select "open with pablo") to begin working on a new creation and also makes it easy to access the tool from anywhere with a single click. It’s hard to believe that this is entirely free to use.

Well, shoot! I missed the 30 in 30 challenge thinking it was a painting a day in February for some reason! I may try to do that anyway!

I read about your parents going into an assisted living facility and feel your pain. My parents are 86 and 82 (I'm 62) but are still independent but I don't know for how long. We'll enjoy all the time we have with them for as long as we can! May God bless you and give you strength.
