Looking for a Way to Brand Your Art Business?

Many of you know that many years ago I used an online web builder called logotournament.com to create a logo for my art business. Don't get me wrong, I love the final design. But wasn't cheap as it cost me about $200.

The logo I had designed is pictured here.

Recently I discovered a new favorite website and it's called Creative Market. Creative Market is a place where graphic designers can sell their designs such as custom fonts, templates, layouts and even logo designs.

The product shown above is called Lady Boss Branding Pack and it showed up in my inbox this morning. It is logo template designs that easily allow you to create your own logo. I love it! I am so excited because I am going to create some more logos for my business that are clean, simple and will cost hardly anything. In fact, this collection only costs $19.00 and it includes 258+ designs. (And just so you know, there are a lot more logo templates to choose from too.)

The only catch is that you need to use photoshop to create your design with the template. It's time I became a little more skilled at photoshop so I am taking the plunge. I played around with one of the templates I purchased and here is what I created. What do you think?

Leslie, I love the diamond logo. The shape reminds me of your palette knife. It would look great in your signature color! - Bobbi

Great idea - love the logo, although it does bother me a little bit that the tail of your "T" is hitting the border and I think you might want to throw a little color in there - aqua?

Think it's fabulous. I'm taking LR class Sat. Think that will do it?

Enjoy your blog, and promote. Need new web and FB business page.
I'm not on your Follow list? Or engagements?

Looks good Leslie :) Congrats on learning Photoshop. You asked, so here's a few ideas....
I would make the Saeta longer, and shorter (height). So that the two words are not the same length. The T should remain within the boundary. You need more space between the bottom loop of the t, and Studio. Or you could play with placement and have that loop hug one of the letters in studio. (more effective if you use two different colors for the words.) If you offset the two lines, you could move Saeta so the T is more centered, and then have studio more to the right.
Thanks for sharing the link with us, and your awesome ideas. Looking forward to the webinar :) And the challenge :)

Love following you in all your various art adventures, Leslie! This Creative Market sounds like a great service. I love the look & color of the design you chose. It's simple & clean. There's only one thing...if I didn't know who you were I wouldn't be able to read your name on the business card. The font is a classy style but hard to read. It could be Jgetva...I might guess it would be hard for international clients to read also.
