Many artists think that their paintings are the only thing potential customers look at. But, the look and feel of your art business is also important. What I mean by the “look and feel” is your website, facebook page, business cards, logo, etc. It’s important that these items, which often “define your brand” need to always portray YOU.
I have a logo for my art business that features my signature and a palette knife. I had it designed on logotournament.com many years ago. There are now a lot of online logo design services that are very inexpensive and can generate a lot of logo designs for you to choose from. You should check them out. My logo can be found on all of my printed materials and online sites. I also have a color theme I like to use which is blues and greens. I just redid all of my business cars with a very great company called Moo. The quality and options are the best I have found and I love their square business cards. I am happy with the “brand” of my art business but am now working on upgrading the look of my Artists Helping Artists radio show and blog. It’s a lot of work but I think it is time. Are you happy with the "brand" of your art business? Does the "look and feel" need some work?

I have actually been thinking of updating my look for a few months. I am working on a logo, and considering a color change.
