The Look and Feel of Your Art Business

Many artists think that their paintings are the only thing potential customers look at. But, the look and feel of your art business is also important. What I mean by the “look and feel” is your website, facebook page, business cards, logo, etc. It’s important that these items, which often “define your brand” need to always portray YOU.

I have a logo for my art business that features my signature and a palette knife. I had it designed on logotournament.com many years ago. There are now a lot of online logo design services that are very inexpensive and can generate a lot of logo designs for you to choose from. You should check them out.

My logo can be found on all of my printed materials and online sites. I also have a color theme I like to use which is blues and greens. I just redid all of my business cars with a very great company called Moo. The quality and options are the best I have found and I love their square business cards.

I am happy with the “brand” of my art business but am now working on upgrading the look of my Artists Helping Artists radio show and blog. It’s a lot of work but I think it is time. Are you happy with the "brand" of your art business? Does the "look and feel" need some work?
